  8. DateBook is a reminder system to help avoid the embarrassment of
  9. forgotten appointments and birthdays etc.  It provides mechanisms to
  10. cycle an event by year, month and week.  Events can also be cycled by
  11. week number, eg first Wednesday in each month or first Wednesday in
  12. May.  You may also specify the number of days ahead and how often to
  13. remind you.  There is also a mode to print just events on a specified
  14. day.

  16. This update introduces Notes and Priority fields, an incoming rexx
  17. port and Rexx Server mode. 
  18.  
  19. If you are using a previous version of DateBook (2.x, 34.x, < 37.9),
  20. it is very important to read the docs before running the program as
  21. the database size and format has changed.  This can be handled for 
  22. you by the Installer Script.
